Horizon projects (ii, electronic books)

Electronic book is one of the soon-to-adopt technologies as described in Horizon Report. These are my notes about it.

Electronic book includes every device able to reproduce book-like content, not only kindle-like devices but also tablets and smartphones as well.

Main characteristic of electronic book are not devices' features or contents, but the actions and experiences that users can develop with them.

There's some issues to be resolved as standars, DMR or pricing, but new possibilities are so open that this item will become a must in higher education.
